More About Our Presentations

  1. UCE Workshop at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, May 2013.  This was a 3 day workshop with lectures on day 1 (videos of most lectures & slides are available), hands on analysis sessions on day 2 (the handouts and VM are available - if you want step by step procedures for phyluce, check this out), and individual meetings on day 3 (no materials are available for that).

  1. Youtube video of the lectures on Day 1 of the UCE Workshop at UAF.  This has a fair amount of general Next-Gen sequencing information, so if you are new to NGS, you might find some interesting nuggets here.

  1. Travis’ Seminar for the Section of Statistical Genetics in the College of Public Health at the University of Alabama Birmingham in May 2013.  If you want background information on the use of multiple tags, especially tagging of PCR amplicons with TaggiMatrix, then this is a good video to watch.  It is a split screen of a video of Travis on one side & all of his slides on the other side.  You will need Microsoft Silverlight.  Whether you like the content or not, the quality of the video is excellent.
